A little mouse in her ballerina tutu, up on her toes beside a big age number, with the name in elegant serif capitals along the base bar underneath. It is built for the birthdays where the number is still small and everyone photographs the cake before the child gets near it: a 1st, a 2nd, a ballerina party, or any little girl whose favourite animal has whiskers.

Behind the number is a socket moulded into the base. It takes a standard upright cake fountain, the cone or cylinder sold as an ice fountain, and it also holds a slim, tall candle of a similar diameter, which is what a lot of parents choose for a first birthday.
- The fountain is not included and we do not sell fireworks.
- If you do use one, remember it is a firework. An adult lights it and stays with it, following the instructions on the packet. Upright cake fountains only, never thin handheld sparklers, and keep little ones well back.
It is 3D printed to order in PLA, a rigid plant-based plastic, in our studio in Spain, and it arrives in the warm bronze finish exactly as photographed, so there is nothing to choose. It is not edible: lift it off before the cake is cut, wipe it clean, and it ends up on the nursery shelf with the photos from the day.
The tutu is what makes it: the skirt flares as if she has just finished a twirl, so the mouse reads as a tiny dancer mid-performance rather than a flat silhouette, and on a pale buttercream cake she is the first thing every photograph finds.

Is this suitable for a 1st birthday cake?
It is designed for exactly that. The age number is the largest element, the mouse dances beside it and the name sits below in serif capitals, so it reads clearly in photographs taken over somebody's shoulder. Many parents skip the fountain at a first birthday and stand a slim tall candle in the socket instead.
Does the topper come with an ice fountain?
No. The topper includes the holder, not the fountain, and we do not sell fireworks. Standard upright cake fountains are sold as ice fountains in supermarkets and party shops. Only that upright cone or cylinder type belongs in the socket, never a thin handheld sparkler, and never within a small child's reach.
Can I use a candle in the socket instead?
Yes, and a lot of parents do at this age. The socket takes a slim, tall candle of roughly the same diameter as a cake fountain. It is a snug fit rather than a fixing, so stand the cake somewhere level and keep an eye on it as you would with any lit candle.
What happens if I type the name or age wrong?
We print the exact spelling of the name and age you type into the personalisation box, accents included — the design sets the lettering in serif capitals. We do not correct or reformat anything, so read it back once before ordering. Personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty, and a misspelling we copied is not a fault.
How long before the party should I order?
Allow about three weeks to be safe. We print after you order: printing takes 1-3 working days and tracked delivery another 5-10 business days, so the total can reach 14 days. Shipping to Germany is EUR 15 per order, free from EUR 70.
